Director/ Sr Director Growth (E-Com Marketplaces) - Prozo Retail Network (PRN)

Job Description:

  1. Growth (Sales): Be a single point owner for the growth of this vertical’s revenues across marketplaces  like Flipkart, Amazon, TataCliq , Myntra, 1MG, Pharmeasy, Snapdeal, Seniority, etc.
    1. Drive Catalog Selection & Management
      1. Strategise selection of the products for catalogue expansion of partner brands based on market trends, budgets and planned growth. 
      2. Ensure maximum number of fast-selling products of the partner brands are live through Prozo Retail Network
    2. Strategise & execute e-commerce growth levers
      1. Maximize buy-box acquisition & retention plan across a catalog of 10,000+ SKUs
        1. Continuously work on pricing strategies and automated re-pricers to maximize sales & profits 
      2. Work closely with marketplaces for sales events and increasing penetration in various categories. 
      3. Marketplace Events Planning
        1. Opt-ins planning
        2. Marketing & Promotion campaigns
        3. *Knowledge of AMS, FMS, Digital Real estate Knowhow is a must
      4. Maximize sales by leveraging regional placement of inventory and other models like Amazo’s IXD model to increase fulfillment speed
    3. Seller Business development & Vendor Management
      1. Add & manage sellers/brands whose products are being sold through Prozo retail Network
      2. Ensure brand’s working with Prozo have a seamless working relationship with Prozo in terms of timely payouts and visibility in sales & inventory. 
      3. Be a Senior key account manager for CEOs/CXOs on the supplier side
      4. Allocate KAM for the partner brands from the marketplace coordination perspective

 

  1. Programme Management
    1. Operations Metrics
      1. Ensure operational metrics of fulfillment of orders are best in class through coordination with the operations team.
      2. Returns management excellence
      3. Inventory Accuracy including monthly stock audits
    2. Marketplace Metrics: SPF claims management
    3. Reconciliation Related:
      1.  Weight discrepancy related penalties
      2. Marketplaces Charges reconciliation
  2. Replenishment Planning
    1. Take decisions on replenishment of stock based on commercial arrangements with the supplier/brand based on parameters like purchase model (Credit, advance or SoR), seasonality, ability to sell etc
  3. P&L Ownership
    1. Single point responsibility for ensuring target profitability in this 100 Crs+ vertical
    2. Ensure no leakages in profitability like unapproved SPF claims, dead inventory, unapproved opt-ins or marketplace commissions etc
  4. Marketplace Management
    1. Lead relationships with various category teams  at marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Tatacliq etc
    2. Lead commercial negotiationwith brands and marketplaces to ensure gross margins targets are met. 
  5. Lead & Manage Teams
    1. Lead and manage a team of 
      1. data analysts, 
      2. E-commerce experts in catalog and inventory
      3. Business development 
      4. Replenishment/ Purchase Team
      5. Business Development
      6. Marketplace managers

Key Skill Sets Requirements

  • Strong Analytical Capabilities - Reconciliation on marketplaces, dynamic pricing etc.
  • 5+ yearsof experience in scaling brands/ categories across marketplaces
  • P&L Management experience is a key skillset to have.
  • Ability to stay organized and systematic in a fast-paced company to ensure critical requirements are not missed
  • Digital Marketing knowledge across platforms like Amazon,Flipkart,Myntra,Ajio,Meesho is a must.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on tangible outcomes
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management and Communication skills
  • Past experience of leading and managing teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
